WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) Training, better known as WHMIS will give employees/employers a general understanding of the safe and efficient handling of Hazardous Products in the workplace

WHMIS Training will assist employers in meeting their obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act. (OSHA) and specifically the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) - Regulations. This WHMIS course has also been specially developed to assist your employees in the workplace that may suffer illiteracy. This will reduce your training time by 50%.

WHMIS Classroom Course Content

• Why are we here training for WHMIS?
• The WHMIS system
• Discuss duties of employer, supervisor, worker
• Warning symbols, MSDS updated
• Review details of MSDS
• Review and discuss the hazard classes and effects
• Routes of entry
• Explain toxic
• Explain common organs effected by substance exposure
• Controlling the use, handling and storage of hazards products in the workplace.
• The employees will be given a WHMIS test and when the testing is completed, we will review any incorrect answers
